We are Mark & Gail Fredlund

When we both retired in the summer of 2012, our daughter had just accepted a three year position in Paris! It was now time to  visit her and take our first trip to Europe! We made air reservations to spend May in Europe.  In February, we traveled to Bellingham High School to listen to Rick Steves talk to an auditorium fillled with people telling us about his way to see Europe.  Meanwhile, we are still trying to figure out exactly where we wanted to go while in Europe and how we would spend our time there, many friends had talked to us about looking at a Rick Steves' tour.  Our daughter talked to us and suggested it would work best for her if we traveled around Europe for two weeks in the middle of our visit while she worked. Mark said to Gail,"How about if we take a Rick Steves tour?"  And with a   resounding, "Yes", we booked our Best of Europe 14 Day tour online and have been happy ever since! This tour was fantastic, a great way to see the highlights of Europe and have the arrangements taken care of for us while traveling with our terrific guide, Ben Cameron, and a fun group of 26 travelers.  This tour had a great balance of city and country activities along with planned activities and free time to explore on our own.  We highly recommend Rick Steves' tours and would like to go again and see more of Europe.
